Our sessions are available for funded two, three and four year olds. There are no restrictions on session availability and no additional charges will be added. Extra hours may also be purchased for £5.50 per hour. 

 

Funded sessions for three and four year olds

Funded Early Learning sessions will support your child with their learning and development and will also give them a head start when they begin school. All three and four year olds are entitled to up to 15 hours of  Early Years Free Entitlement for 38 weeks of the year.

 

From September 2017 all children aged three and four with working parents will be entitled to an additional 15 hours of free childcare. 

Both parents need to either work at least 16 hours a week or earn at least £168 per week.

Lone parent family: parent would need to earn at least the equivalent of 16 hours at minimum wage level (for over 23's £168 per week).

Funded sessions for two year olds

Some two year olds in Brighton & Hove will be entitled to 15 hours of Early Years childcare.  Make sure your child does not miss out on the opportunity to play, learn and make friends.

A notice period of one week is required for funded sessions so please let us know in advance if you are intending to make any changes to your child's attendance.
